MOVE IT 2015 hits the U.K.

MOVE IT, the U.K.’s biggest annual dance event with more than 24,000 attendees, hits the stage in Olympia, London on February 13-15, 2015. Offering three full days of performances, classes and shopping, MOVE IT has something for everyone – from the basic dance fan to the teacher/studio owner to the aspiring professional dancer.

The MOVE IT Main Stage is the host of the most spectacular performances from some of the most exciting artists and dance companies from all over the U.K. The Main Stage lineup includes: Got To Dance 2014 winner Duplic8; Prima Ballerina Elena Glurdjidze; the world-renowned Tap Attack; Strictly Come Dancing pairs Kristina Rihanoff and Robin Windsor and Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec; Soul Mavericks with B-Girls Terra and Eddie; Britain’s Got Talent 2014 semi-finalist Kieran Lai and Got To Dance 2013 semi-finalist Mindtrick; Flawless celebrating its 10-year anniversary; Got To Dance 2013 winner Lukas McFarlane; Michael Flatley’s Lord of The Dance: Dangerous Games; Wayne McGregor | Random Dance; and more.

In addition to the Main Stage, MOVE IT offers The Freestyle Stage, a place to show off your talent and outrageous dance skills, and The Showcase Theatre, the place to catch performances from some of the best dance schools, colleges, academies and educational establishments in the U.K.

Off stage, MOVE IT also offers an incredible lineup of over 240 dance classes, including a complete mix of genres and the current and future trends in the U.K. dance scene. Whether a seasoned dancer or a beginner looking to try dance for the first time, MOVE IT has something for everyone. (Classes are 45 minutes long and are open to all unless otherwise stated.) Also, MOVE IT PRO hosts seminars and masterclasses specifically for dance teachers, choreographers and professional dancers.

New this year, the MOVE IT Bleachers is a fresh feature that allows ticket holders to sit right alongside the main stage. Expect gossip, impromptu dance offs, career advice and star selfies.

Also original to the scene is the brand new MOVE IT Scouting Team, who will be scouring the show for raw talent. The team will give away free goodies and the opportunity to perform on the Freestyle Stage every day.

For those dance fans who love to shop, MOVE IT will present over 100 exhibitors, some featuring the very latest products from the top dance brands. Attendees can enjoy exclusive show-offers, from buy-one-get-one-free to 20% discount on all orders. For example, Capezio will be at stand 630 all three days offering an exclusive discount and doing giveaways, plus sponsoring a fashion show in partnership with Bird College.

In addition to all this, MOVE IT will also be offering acting, singing and voice classes and hosting free dance fitness demo sessions.
