Movie inspires dancers around the world

Untapped Dance FilmBrothers Young Productions recently held a successful casting call for dancers around the world. After evaluating thousands of submissions, the list has been narrowed down to 200 semi-finalists. Brothers Young will spend the next month narrowing the list down to its top finalist, who will earn a spot in its new inspirational feature film Untapped

Untapped is a film about overcoming the struggles in your life to show the world your potential. The movie is being produced by Brothers Young and it follows the journey of a teenage girl conquering emotional and physical trials after the death of her parents. In the film, the girl will discover dance to be the expressive outlet she needs to find her inner strength.

Upon asking dancers to respond to the question “Why do you love dance?” as part of the audition, Brothers Young was amazed to receive hundreds of touching video responses. From these, the company created a moving video guaranteed to give you goosebumps. (See the video below.)

In addition to releasing this video, Brothers Young recently announced a new Instagram Contest for Untapped. The contest started this week and ends November 4. It will have daily winners that will receive a DVD of Untapped when it is released. One grand prizewinner will also receive a featured extra role in the movie!

Sticking with the theme of Untapped, the contest asks fans to share photos with the people(s) that inspire them. Participants might include friends, family members, mentors, teachers, pastors, etc. Photos should include the hashtag #iamuntappedpotential. Visit www.untappedmovie.com for complete instructions.

If fans are looking for a way to be in the movie without the uncertainty of a contest, Untapped has sponsorship opportunities available for individuals and dance studios. Sponsorships include featured extra and speaking roles. Just visit the website and click on “sponsorships.” Proceeds go toward the making of the movie.
