NBC’s ‘World of Dance’ is casting for Season 2

NBC dance competition series now castingNBC, Executive Producer Jennifer Lopez and dance brand World of Dance have announced the renewal of hit TV show World of Dance. The new dance competition series will return for its second season and it’s now casting talented and innovative dancers of all styles and ages from across the entire globe.

 

Open to soloists, duos, trios and groups, World of Dance welcomes the best dancers on the planet to apply to battle it out for one million dollars. The top qualifiers in the four divisions (Junior, Junior Team, Upper and Team) will go head-to-head on their quest to win it all.

 

Here’s the rundown on the divisions:

 

– Junior: Juniors can consist of acts with 1–4 members made up of any combination of males and females. Ages 8 years old to 17 years old.

 

– Junior Team: Junior Teams can consist of acts with 5-15 members made up of any combination of males and females. Ages 8 years old to 17 years old.

 

– Upper: Uppers can consist of acts with 1–4 members made up of any combination of males and females. Ages 18 and older.

 

– Team: Teams can consist of acts with 5–15 members, made up of any combination of males and females. Ages 18 years and older.

 

Officials are looking for originality and diversity in all styles of dance. Routines must be memorable and should stand out from a crowd. Auditionees should show off their creativity, style, technique, musicality, attitude and showmanship.

 

Dancers can apply online! The deadline is this Friday, November 3! Once they have completed and submitted all the required paperwork and videos, a casting producer will review their submission. Applicants will be contacted only if producer is considering the applicant for a live call back audition.
