NYCDA in midst of 2015-16 Tour

Directed by Joe Lanteri and Leah Brandon, New York City Dance Alliance kicked off its 24-city convention tour last month! The 2015-16 Tour has already visited Salt Lake City, Mobile, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Houston and Los Angeles. Now the crew heads to Boston for December 4-6 and Nashville from December 11-13!

An undeniable leader in the dance industry, NYCDA offers professional weekend conventions known for their exciting workshop classes, distinguished faculty, thrilling competition and professional audition experience—all in a supportive, positive and fun environment.

The faculty includes renowned teacher Suzi Taylor, Broadway choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, Kidd Pivot dancer Cindy Salgado, Justin Timberlake tour performer and commercial choreographer Dana Wilson, tapper Chloe Arnold of Syncopated Ladies, tapper and Broadway performer Jared Grimes, Rock The Ballet performer Rachel Kreiling and Billy Elliot the Musical star Corey Snide.

In the New Year, NYCDA will tour to Orlando, Lansing, Vancouver, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Santa Clara, Meadowlands, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Greenville, Dallas, Atlanta and Phoenix. The 2016 Nationals will be in NYC on June 29-July 7.

One of many reasons dancers love NYCDA is the College Scholarship Program. Since 2010, more than 200 teenagers have been awarded over $12 million in college scholarships through the NYCDA Foundation and their college partners.
