TITAS Presents announces diverse new lineup

TITAS Presents' 2016-17 Season features Alvin Ailey American Dance TheaterEvery year, the Dallas community holds its breath to hear what the AT&T Performing Arts Center will present for its next season. Operating three premier performance venues and a park on its 10-acre campus in the downtown area, The Center has five resident companies: Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and Texas Ballet Theater.

 

A major part of The Center’s annual programming comes from its TITAS Presents season, led by Executive Director/Artistic Director Charles Santos. This season is North Texas’ foremost presenter of high culture performance art, having consistently showcased artistic excellence from around the world for 34 years in Dallas. In total, TITAS Presents has presented over 500 performances with artists from more than 39 countries, with over 150 debut events.

 

Now its 2016-17 Season, themed “Virtuosic Innovation”, will feature Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Argentina’s Estampas Porteñas Tango, Jessica Lang Dance, Pilobolus, Doug Varone and Dancers, Diavolo, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Texas debuts of Bridgman|Packer Dance, Argentina’s Che Malambo and Canada’s Ballet BC.
