‘To The Sea’ calls for submissions

Jacob Jonas The Company and Dance Camera West will be presenting individual choreographers and dance companies from all dance forms and genres in To The Sea: Dance Concerts On The Pier from April 12-15, 2018.

As part of the 17th Annual Dance Camera West Festival, To The Sea performances will be presented on the West End of the Santa Monica Pier. Both audiences and performers are surrounded by the natural space of the Pacific Ocean and the Pier. Performances are free and open to the public.

The stage is 20 feet by 36 feet of laid Marley and submitted works can be up to 25 minutes long.

Performances take place every day at sunset and immediately following them is a moderated Q&A session with the audience.

Artists may apply to perform here. The Early Bird Deadline is December 1. The Final Deadline is January 13.
