Camp PULSE offers events for young dancers

Camp PULSE on Tour 2016Know a student dancer who’s super eager to train and compete on the main dance competition and convention circuit but is still a little too young? Camp PULSE to the rescue!

Camp PULSE on Tour is an exciting weekend workshop just for dancers ages 7-13. This unique, kid-friendly dance convention features the organizers behind Nickelodeon and Disney TV shows and movies like Shake It Up, iCarly, Camp Rock, Victorious, High School Musical, Hannah Montana and more. Faculty members seek to have dancers and teachers walk away from each event inspired and motivated to reach their next goals in dance.

Each weekend includes: non-stop dance classes all day Saturday and Sunday, a chance to perform (dancers can present their solos, duos, trios, small and large group pieces), a Camp PULSE Pajama Jamm, acting workshop opportunities and more than $5,000 in scholarships! Young dancers can also have their photo taken with the faculty.

Parents enjoy a Parent Chat, a Parent Class and a Parent Show-off. Teachers can look forward to a Reception and Private Class just for them, plus a Creative Connect.

New this season, dancers can take part in Camp PULSE’s first-ever Tap Jamm! The class will include tap technique, musical sounds and rhythms, and improvisational work. There’s also a new Ballet Warm-Up being offered in the mornings, and in select cities, a 30-minute yoga session led by a Ivivva Athletica representative.
